In addition to eliminating the dust during unloading, the DustControl system installed since 2004 in this receiving pit has decreased the risk of dust explosions. The systems do double duty, decreasing risks to the operators and to the environment against pollution.
The DustControl inhibits the emission of sugar dust during receiving, making it a safer environment.
DustControl é composto por módulos que cobrem toda a superfície da moega, permitindo que o ar escape apenas se há produto de filtragem acima dele para remover a poeira. Os primeiros sistemas DustControl, instalados há 20 anos, ainda estão em operação e nunca tiveram nenhuma manutenção.
