RUMO LOGÍSTICA – RONDONÓPOLIS (MT) | Brazil 7 Mechanical DustControl systems 2024

Rumo Logística, one of the largest railway operators in Brazil, has an intermodal terminal in Rondonopolis, Mato Grosso, designed to meet the growing demand of Brazil’s agribusiness. With investments of approximately US$ 42 million, the terminal has 15 truck pits, with a capacity of 150 thousand tons and three railway hoppers that can load three trains simultaneously. This infrastructure allows the terminal to receive up to 2 thousand trucks per day, facilitating the efficient flow of grains from the Central-West region to the Port of Santos.

To ensure operational efficiency and environmental safety at its facilities in Rondonopolis, Rumo Logística installed the Wings’ DustControl systems in 7 pits. The system uses metal modules positioned below the pit grate to capture and filter the dust generated during the grain unloading process, contributing to a safer and healthier work environment, in addition to complying with environmental regulations.
The partnership between Rumo Logística and Wings Ltda. demonstrates the company's commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, ensuring efficient and environmentally responsible operations at its Rondonopolis facilities.
